Q: What path do you see that can minimize human suffering in the long term in that part of the world?

Well, I think that part of the world is definitely like, if you look up the. There is no easy answer in the dictionary. It'll be like the picture of the Middle east in Israel especially. So there is no easy answer. Or what my. This is strictly my opinion of is that the goal of Hamas was to provoke an overreaction from Israel. They obviously did not expect to have a military victory, but they really wanted to commit …

Q: The people who are rooting for escalation and how can it be stopped?

One of the things that does concern me is that there are very few people alive today who actually viscerally understand the horrors of war, at least in the U.S. I mean, obviously there are people on the front lines in Ukraine and Russia who understand just how terrible war is. But how many people in the west understand it? My grandfather was in World War II. He was severely traumatized. He was there, I think for …

Q: But now as we sit here with the intensity of conflict going on, do you worry about nuclear war?

I think we shouldn't discount the possibility of nuclear war. It is a civilizational threat. Right now, I could be wrong, but I think the current probability of nuclear war is quite low. But there are a lot of nukes pointed at us and we have a lot of nukes pointed at other people. They're still there. Nobody's put their guns away. The missiles are still in the silos

Q: How do you hope the war in Ukraine comes to an end and what's the path once again to minimizing human suffering there?

Well, I think that what is likely to happen, which is really pretty much the way it is that something very close to the current lines will

Q: Do you think he should sit down man to man, Leader, leader and negotiate peace?

Look, I think I would just recommend do not send the flower of Ukrainian youth to be to die in trenches whether he talks to Putin or not. Just don't do that. Whoever goes on the offensive will lose massive numbers of people and history will not look kindly upon them.

Q: You know, the work Russia does in Germany with fake accounts on, it's pretty, pretty huge activity. Right?

I mean, we don't see a lot of Russian activity, to be frank, on the system. So we see very little. We do see a lot of temps to influence things, but they seem to be coming from the west, not from Russia.

Q: How do you, how do you look at that?

Well, like I said, I'm really take the set of actions that maximize the probability that the future is good. I mean, we have to keep civilization going onward and upward as much as possible and try to minimize the civilizational threats that occur. Like we can't get to Mars if civilization collapses. It's not going to happen. So we've got to keep civilization going. And I think we should view our civilization as …

Q: And when I left, and then, then after I left, they started forming big armies on there, on the border with Ukraine, right?

I think you're right. I think people underrate the risk of World War Three. And it's just when looking at the risk of global thermonuclear warfare, it's game over for humanity. And it's something that people have. I think after the end of the Cold War, people have become complacent about, but they actually have forgotten that there are currently a lot of nuclear missiles that have targeting parameters for the United …

Q: How do you, how do you process all of the negativity toward him for trying to end this war? War?

Well, first of all, I think we should have empathy for the people dying at the front lines. That's the most important thing. And people have been dying. It's like, how many more years is this supposed to go on? Yeah. And imagine if that was your son, your father what are they dying for? What exactly are they dying for? That line has. The line of engagement is barely moved for two years. Yeah. This is how much people …

Q: You said, oh, I challenged President Putin to. Was it an arm wrestle?

Is there a worse publication on the face of the earth in the Wall Street Journal? I wouldn't use that to line up my cage for paratroopings. That newspaper is the worst newspaper in the world. And there's, and you know, if there's one newspaper that should be pro capitalist, it's the one with Wall street in the name, but it isn't. Q: And is it right that you should have that power?

Well, I'm not sure we're determining the ultimate outcome of the say the war in Ukraine. I think, I do hope that there's some sort of peace agreement reached soon, because for two or three years now, the border has barely moved, and every day there are lots of people dying at the front line. And I think there's a lot of wishful thinking here of people saying, well, Russia should completely withdraw, et cetera, but …

@ggreenwald Despite greatly helping Ukraine via Starlink, I was viciously attacked for stating the obvious a year ago. The reason I did so was in hopes of avoiding the sacrifice of a generation of men to the trenches for nothing.

@MarioNawfal Ukraine will most likely decline, because NATO won’t let them stop the war yet. That allows Putin to tell the Russian people that he offered peace and it was refused, so there is no choice but to ramp up the war.

What I said over 2 years ago was that Ukraine should seek peace or suffer severe loss of life for no gains. The latter was Zelensky’s choice. Now, he wants to do that again. This is cruel and inhumane. https://t.co/44DZhnH98s

Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS. Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company.
