Q: What excites you most about how this project is progressing?
Well, robotaxi is like necessarily non driven. The I guess I am very excited about our progress with autonomy. The end to end nothing but nets. Self driving software is amazing. Drives me all around Austin with no interventions. So it's clearly the right move. So it's really pretty amazing. And obviously that same software and approach will enable optimus to do useful things and enable optimists to learn

Q: Can you speak about what you're most excited about?
Well, I think in terms of what will have the biggest impact in the world, it will be the kind of the Robotaxi dedicated robo taxi. Now of course all types of vehicles are, can operate. It will be able to operate as a Robotaxi pretty much all. So, you know. But yeah, I think the dedicated Robotaxi will have single biggest effect in the world. The semi truck I think will have a very big effect. The Roadster is one of …

Q: Elon, you have a date on the calendar for the announcement and launch of the Cyber, the Robo taxi. What can we expect from that?
Well, I can't give it away you gotta have some you know, you don't want to give the show away before the show so I think it'll be just a tease. I think it'll be, I think it'll be cool. I think people will be pretty excited. And yeah, it's like, I do wonder like in the actual event itself, will people, how many people will realize how profound it is, what we're going to show. I think as some people will understand …

Q: When do you expect the first robotaxi ride?
I guess that's really just a question of when do I expect the first. When can we do unsupervised full self driving? It's difficult. Obviously my predictions on this have been overly optimistic in the past. So I mean, based on the current trend, it seems as though we you should get miles between interventions

Q: We will start with questions from sei.com first question is what are the highest grits, highest risk items on the critical path to Robotaxi launch and scaling?
… Well just to buy the justambiguate the Cyber Cab from Robo Taxi once again. So the when will the Teslas because the Teslas that will be fully autonomous in June in Austin are probably Model Y's. So that is that's currently on track to be able to do paid rides fully autonomously in Austin in June

Q: And as you approach the Austin launch, how do you expect to compare against Waymo's offering, especially regarding pricing, geofencing and regulatory flexibility?
Okay, the issue with Waymo's cars is they cost way more money. But that is the issue. The costs are very expensive, made in low volume. Teslas are, I don't know, probably cost a quarter or 20% of what a Waymo costs and made in very high volume. So ironically, we're the ones that made the bet that a pure AI solution with cameras and audio, the car actually will listen for sirens. And that kind of thing is the right …

Q: So how are we doing on robo taxis?
Yeah. So really you can think of a car or future cars as being robots on four wheels. And you know, I think it would be very exciting to have autonomous vehicles here in the Kingdom.

Q: Will it replace the Model 3 and why?
Well, this cybercap, which is a two seater and that would. They would not replace the three and Y because three and Y have a four seater and six capability. So I think you'd find that the Cyber Cab would be for one or two passengers, and then dynamically it would call the model 34 or wire for four passengers or wire for six passengers and then we'll have the larger vehicles. But, I mean, this is not the forum for …

Q: The next question is, what milestones are you targeting for unsupervised FSD and robo taxi expansion beyond Austin this year and how will that drive recurring revenue?
Well, we certainly hope to be have unsupervised FSD or Robotaxi operating in, I don't know, a dozen or so states by the end of this year. Initially we're taking it very, we're taking a very cautious approach to the rollout here, like we do. We haven't had any injuries and certainly no fatalities to date with the unsupervised. Unsupervised FSD and Robotax expansion. We want to keep it that way. And so. I don't, I …

Q: And then would you ever consider third party distribution partnerships such as with rideshare providers to increase utilization, or is the plan for now to keep Robotaxi fully vertically integrated?
Yeah, we expect to be vertically integrated with Robotaxi as we are in the rest of our business. So I don't think we're going to have any demand challenges with Robotaxi. So this is. But the economics will be so compelling that I think we will really have a lot more desire to use the service than like I think demand will aspect our ability to service the demand. And so obviously there's no, you can just go vertical …

Q: But like, how hard, like, what's the hardest problem to go from Austin to go cross country?
Well, cross country most people. You mean like widespread just to be in all cities, you know what I mean? Just a trip across country. Yeah. Because the amount of miles driven that are actually trips across country is pretty small. But the reason we're moving what seems to be slowly, but although it's actually a very high percentage increase, sort of month over month, percentage increase is actually very rapid. But …

Robotaxi operating hours moved from 10pm to 11pm. The main thing we’re trying to solve is making sure that we don’t run over pets when they’re hard to see at night. Literally trying to avoid grey kittens on grey tarmac in the dark. https://t.co/y4HSVILLqd
